Do Your Best

I often talk with folks who feel like they haven’t accomplished what they are supposed to or that they didn’t try hard enough. People often tell me they feel like they have failed at being parents, friends, and partners. I want to remind you that what you are “supposed to do” and who you are “supposed to be” is not a reflection of your true self. What is most important in any situation is that you try your best. Look within yourself, explore what makes you feel whole, and recognize what it is that feels the most important.

Every day you are faced with challenges and you show up the best that you can. For everyone, your best is different every day. Some days you may be able to give more and other days you may need to spend time alone and take a rest from the world. Whatever you need today is okay. Trust your intuition, keep showing up for yourself, and do your best, no matter what your best looks like.
