The Hanged Man

"The Hanged One"

April 1st-7th

The Hanged Man, sometimes referred to as The Hanged One, is all about intention and new perspectives. This is one of my favorite cards in tarot, so much so that I have it tattooed on my forearm. When this card appears in a reading, it is a reminder to center yourself and calmly view the situation in front of you. You are protected by divine energy and have the ability to find peace within yourself.

Are you feeling stuck? This may be because you are trying to force something that doesn’t fit. This could be related to your relationships, career, personal life, an idea, or perspective. You are being asked to let go of something that is no longer serving your higher purpose. Take a moment to step back, be intentional as you trust yourself through your decision-making process.

The Hanged Man shows us that we can accomplish and overcome obstacles when we take time to reconnect with ourselves. You may be feeling uncomfortable as you break free from old patterns. As you find ways to reconnect with your body and trust in your strength and wisdom, you will begin to navigate whatever blocks your path with ease.

It can feel more desirable to be a follower since you do not have to think about where you are going. However, there are many ways to get to the same destination, and incorporating your own individuality will make your experience more meaningful. Take time to walk down the path less traveled and don’t be afraid to trust your intuition. You may not know all of the answers right away, and that is okay. When you take time to slow down and believe in yourself, the universe will illuminate the answers you seek. Trust the messages you are receiving, even if they seem a little out there. Step outside of your comfort zone and don’t be afraid to take a different approach.

The tarot deck I read from is The Light Seer's Tarot by Chris-Anne. If you would like to learn more about her deck visit https://lightseerstarot.com/
